I haven't fucking touched this thing in over a year. My most recent comments include Beisel's Happy Bosses (Boss'? Boss's?) Day, which was when I turned 20.
So, since the last post I moved into a new, termite-less house; Erica and I broke up; I changed my major from Political Science to Latin American Studies; my computer broke, taking with it ALL my Pinstripes, 590s, Adversaries, the Offbeats, Regina Spektor, Moldy Peaches, The Quintessentials, Johnny Cash, and so on; and I turned 21.
I think I've quit this liverjournal shit because my life so boring that I lack the need to share it with others. And besides, no one reads anyone else's journal. This is just a conversation with myself, and they lock people up for that. The electronic ether has just as much interest in the things you say as your friends do; none. |

Irish is a really sweet language. "Hey, there are way too many vowels here. I don't wanna pronounce them all" "Well, you only have to pronounce the first one" "Thanks, mythological origin of the language." Oh, and to make something possesive, you have to add another letter to the word. Easy.
I lied for the first time to get out of working today. And then I took a two hour nap. It was very satisfying because I really hate my job. Everyone who lives in Ohio should vote in November so I can get a $.35 raise. "The people that deal with everyone else's disgusting garbage and food must be paid the least" Fuck you, mythological origin of the economy.
I like the people I'm rooming with, but I can't handle their music. Who the hell listens to the soudtrack of anime that isn't FLCL? But now I'm listening to the Misfits and Bad Religion and stuff with ENERGY and DISTORTED POWER CHORDS and GUITARS. Yeah. I want the 590s or Adversaries to come to Cincinnati. |

Holy fucking shit. The Department of Homeland Security ran a wargame. The enemy wasn't Al Qaeda or Iraqi insurgents, or terrorists or anything like that. Nope, they spent all that money to prepare to fight anti-war activists (an incredibly war-like people), labor activists, and vegans. They think Food Not Bombs (a.k.a. Freedom Not Bombs), which gives food to the homeless, is planning an attack. Oh, and Democrats and nuns - yeah, nuns - help.
WHAT THE FUCK. I thought all their rhetoric was just bullshit, but they're actually planning for attacks from nuns and vegans. They spent our tax money to prepare to defend themselves against us. They actually think that disagreement = insurgency. Everyday my will to remain in this country is diminishing. If shit doesn't turn around, it's between leaving or ignoring the news.
Oh noes! The cable went out! Those evil nuns!

I had low expectations for the Simpsons movie, but this raised them a little. It may be of Futurama-like quality, as opposed to current-Simpsons quality, which is a hyphenated form of 'shit.'

Despite the fact that CNN just said that London hasn't been this hot in 200+ years, and air conditioners are blacking out an assload of cities, global warming is comparable to Holocaust denial. Huh.
I laughed at this because I am not an adult.

Man, sometimes I just wanna punch people in the face. This is one of those times. While I was reading my Poly Sci book, I saw that Bush was the only, yeah only, President to have never vetoed anything. I figured that this was due to party loyalty, and Republican domination of pretty much everything. Then I looked into it, and it turns out he just ignores the laws which he doesn't like. And now he vetoes the one bill from Congress that might actually help people. I would die happy if I could break the nose of one of these assholes.
Blah blah blah. Being at home is incredibly boring. I do nothing but watch TV and play videogames all day. On the other hand, I single-handedly defended a base on my Battlefield 1942 demo for like half the game.
Also there is a political cartoonist named Pat Oliphant, which I found kinda funny.
I am going to Texas and I want to look into the new! improved! Mexican border. Now with the 12 National Guards not rebuilding Iraq/Afghanistan/NOLA! Yum yum. Ooo, I wonder if I'll see Mexican immigrants building a wall to keep out Mexican immigrants. Irony and fascism, they go together like PB&J. |

Every time I see 'The Misfits' on TV I get really excited, but then I remember that the band got their name from a movie.
New Rocky Movie. I doubt that Hollywood will ever stop making Rocky movies. I'll still see it, even though I never go see movies.

Hey, remember that South Park episode which was really controversial because it might've had Muhammad in it? Yeah, that was on CNN and shit. But does anyone remember the South Park episode 'Super Best Friends,' which had the creators of world religions being super heros? Yeah, it had Muhammad in it. It was OK before those dumb Danish cartoons, but not afterwords. The entire world has gone insane. |
